We have been hit so hard with the flu this past week. I can not remember the last time I felt this bad other than after giving birth.
It started with Jason and an ear infection that was so bad his ear was plugged and I had to scrape this awful stuff out of his ear, Yuck. It was nasty.
Wyatt started off with another sinus infection that turned into pneumonia and then went into the flu. He was on so many meds at one time. Now we have a doctors Apt today to talk about asthma meds.
Trevor and I have the swine flu as do the boys and I have been laid out flat for a week now. It is horrible. I do not wish this on anyone. The aches and pains are worse than anything that I have felt. It also feels like a 400 lb man is sitting on my chest.
The worst part is my dishes are piling up as I lay on the couch hoping that a troll or fairy will swoop in and do them for me. Or fold the mound of laundry that is sitting on top of the dryer. I think that is the worst part about being sick is as a mom you are finally home but can not do anything about your house that you take so much pride in.
I have no voice, I can not work out, which is the most frustrating part for me. Lifting weights is my way of getting out my frustrations and anger. Spin class is my adrenaline rush and walking the stairs is my way of detoxing my kidneys since I sweat so much. I can not wait to get back into the routine of things.
Waking up at 6 is my idea of bliss, getting ready for the day, dropping Jason off at school and working with my class of wonderful kiddos is amazing and can not wait till Monday so I can get back into it. I miss my horses, playing with my dogs and hanging out with my sister.
I still have 10 lbs to loose and it is coming off come high or hell water when I feel better, look out world I am going to kick butt.
